Sometimes you just need to get away.
Even living as an expat outside your home country, or perhaps even more so because of the situation, vacations are still a necessary part of life for staying relaxed and happy. However, just picking up and leaving for a long vacation isn’t sensible financially or time-wise for the majority of expats. Therefore, it may be worth the time to take a few shorter weekend trips to refresh yourself whenever the need arises. For a few fun ideas, see below:

Travelling with your family or just significant other can be an exciting experience for everyone. No doubt children enjoy trips and chances to explore, and a relationship between two can bloom with short holidays away.
