For expat women, things can get even more tricky and new things such as cost of living are needed. For most ladies, keeping only one job is impossible. Rather than try to deal with cost of living and everything else on your own, allow us to help you throughout the transition of expatriating. With ExpatAngels by your side, even dealing with cost of living and the uncertainty of relocating abroad you can continue doing everything.

Driving through the musseque

From de kooijtjes, Yesterday, Read 0 times. Similar articles

It's always very crowded in the narrow, dusty streets of the slums. How come that there are no old people here' Is this because of the war' ?Yes, but also they don't come often out of their barakas. Besides, there are not really old people here as they usually don't reach the age of 50. The living conditions in the slum are extremely bad. It's too crowded and utterly unhygienic with mounds of rotten garbage and no clean water.? The average life expectancy in Angola is not more than 39 years!... Read more

Right now they are doing the roof. I am fully expecting the leg of a builder to appear through the roof above my head any minute now. The ceiling boards are shifting ? Spring weather on the island

From Expat Travels, Yesterday, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Spring has finally arrived in Victoria.  This was long awaited since last year the weather wasn't all that warm and with my luck I had that time off to enjoy the cold weather. Now that spring is in full gear, we are enjoying our evenings outside playing at the park or exploring outside.  Cammie seems to enjoy being outside from the second she wakes up to the second she goes to sleep.  She usually points to the door or insists on sitting there until we get her outside.  Of... A satisfying run

From Lioness in Japan, Yesterday, Read 0 times. Similar articles

I used to run the 11km around Macritchie Reservoir with the kangaroo. I would always find it so hard to drag myself there and dodging trees roots and tripping over rocks would always make me groan inwardly, “Why the hell do I do this to myself'” But it always feels so damn good after I emerge from the jungle of trees. It’s one of my favourite places in Singapore. Do try and go for a hike or a run at least once if you are in Singapore. What’s the point of being in a... Read more

Beer, mustard and cheese bread recipe, inspired by Welsh Rarebit

From Nami-nami, Yesterday, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Are you familiar with the British pub classic, Welsh Rarebit? It's a slice of toasted bread topped with a melted cheese, mustard and beer concoction. Excellent, if rich, comfort food. Those three flavourings are all present in this soft yeast bread that's been a favourite for years - I even included a recipe in my first cookbook. It's soft and tender, with plenty of gutsy flavours going on. It's obviously not a bread that you'd toast and slather with jam, but with some extra cheese or a slice... Read more
